Los cuales generalmente est\u00e1n asociados a tumores cuya frecuencia en la poblaci\u00f3n es baja, habitualmente ocurren en \u00f3rganos que rara vez desarrollan malignidad y se pueden presentar m\u00e1s de un tipo de c\u00e1ncer en el mismo paciente. Por lo general est\u00e1n determinados por genes, diferentes a los habitualmente relacionados con el tipo de tumor cl\u00e1sico y conservan un tipo de transmisi\u00f3n familiar, pudiendo acompa\u00f1arse de malformaciones cong\u00e9nitas, dismorfias o patolog\u00eda sist\u00e9mica. Algunos ejemplos de este tipo de neoplasias son: el ependimoma, el glioma \u00f3ptico, el feocromocitoma, el leiomiosarcoma, el carcinoma de c\u00e9lulas renales y el c\u00e1ncer medular de tiroides. En la etapa infantil se presentan, con car\u00e1cter de predisposici\u00f3n el retinoblastoma hereditario, la leucemia familiar, la anemia de Fanconi y el complejo esclerosis tuberosa, as\u00ed como los s\u00edndromes ataxia-telagiectasia, de Beckwith-Weidemann, de Bloom, de Li-Fraumeni, de Gorlin, Peutz-Jeguers, Zollinger-Ellison, Werner, neurofibromatosis y neoplasia end\u00f3crina m\u00faltiple.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La neoplasia end\u00f3crina m\u00faltiple (NEM) representa un grupo de entidades con clara transmisi\u00f3n familiar. Existen 3 tipos: NEM2A, NEM2B y el carcinoma medular tiroideo familiar (CMTF). El primero es el m\u00e1s frecuente, se manifiesta por carcinoma medular tiroideo, feocromocitoma, adenoma paratiroideo e hiperparatiroidismo primario y se sabe que est\u00e1 causado por variantes del gen RET. El NEM2B se manifiesta por carcinoma medular tiroideo, feocromocitoma y neuromas, los pacientes presentan un fenotipo marfanoide. CMTF se caracteriza por la presencia del carcinoma tiroideo medular y papilar, generalmente en m\u00e1s de un familiar.<\/p>\n<p>Ante estos tipos de tumor, es recomendable considerarlo como un s\u00edndrome de c\u00e1ncer hereditario y practicar estudio molecular de genes candidatos.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Existe un grupo particular llamado s\u00edndromes de susceptibilidad al c\u00e1ncer.
