Aproximadamente el 10% de los casos son de c\u00e1ncer hereditario por lo que se pueden tomar medidas para prevenirlo o tener un diagn\u00f3stico oportuno.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta enfermedad es causada por cambios en los genes, los cuales pueden causar anormalidades en el crecimiento de las c\u00e9lulas.&nbsp;Estos cambios gen\u00e9ticos pueden transmitirse de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n, incrementando la susceptibilidad de padecer diversos tipos de c\u00e1ncer. A esto se le llama c\u00e1ncer hereditario.&nbsp; Son consecuencia de mutaciones germinales en los genes y ocupan del 5% al&nbsp;10% de todos los casos.&nbsp;Es importante aclarar que el c\u00e1ncer no se hereda, lo que se hereda es la mutaci\u00f3n y la predisposici\u00f3n a esta enfermedad. Para identificar el riesgo y los sitios donde se puede desarrollar el c\u00e1ncer, es necesario tener un diagn\u00f3stico y estudio adecuado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Identificar si tu familia tiene c\u00e1ncer hereditario es importante, ya que no solo se puede dar un diagn\u00f3stico temprano, sino que se puede prevenir la aparici\u00f3n de tumores. Consiste en extraer sangre&nbsp;o saliva&nbsp;para estudiar&nbsp;la secuencia del&nbsp;ADN y as\u00ed proporcionar informaci\u00f3n muy valiosa:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Detectar si una persona tiene la mutaci\u00f3n, ya sea que tenga signos de la enfermedad o no.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Evaluar el riesgo de c\u00e1ncer cuando una persona tiene antecedentes familiares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Informar sobre futuros&nbsp;riesgo de presentar c\u00e1ncer en zonas m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Facilita el pron\u00f3sticos, detecci\u00f3n temprana y tratamiento adecuado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En caso de tener resultados positivos a esta herencia,&nbsp;se debe realizar un seguimiento y vigilancia continua. Aunque la persona no tenga s\u00edntomas de la enfermedad es portadora de la mutaci\u00f3n y en cualquier momento&nbsp;la&nbsp;puede desarrollar.
